The work of the Chief Minister’s Drug and Alcohol Strategy will be highlighted later today (Tuesday).
Members of the public are invited to attend the Hilton Hotel in Douglas between 10 o'clock and 6.30pm.
Several government and voluntary organisations will be represented at the event, which aims to promote a greater understanding of drug and alcohol issues in the Island.
There’ll be a number of displays, some interactive; a chance to sample a non-alcoholic cocktail; and an opportunity for the public to express their views on matters affecting the community as a result of drinking and drug use.
Initiatives being progressed as part of the Strategy will also be outlined, along with information and support that is available to the public.
