Locals told to concentrate during TT

This year's TT safety drive contains two further messages.

For visitors and fans, it's 'take it down a gear or two' and for local motorists, 'step up your reactions a gear or two'.

At the launch of the campaign, under the banner 'Ride Safe. If you don't, it could hit someone hard', Transport Minister David Anderson said it wasn't just fans who had to watch their behaviour.

He said locals had to be aware it was a different situation to normal (audio file attached):
