A pioneering method of recording Tynwald sessions has led to the fastest transcription of a sitting on record.

The Hansard Voice Recognition system can identify individual voices and transcribe them, almost in real time.

Senior Hansard Editor Ian Faulds says the success to date is the first stage in a long process:
