Still no word on EuroManx job losses

by isleofman.com 16th May 2008
There's still no confirmation of the number of redundancies at Flight Support based at Ronaldsway Airport.

It was confirmed yesterday that a number of staff could be losing their jobs in the wake of the recent demise of airline EuroManx.

It's understood a meeting has been taking place this morning to discuss the situation and clarify how many positions may have to be closed.

Staff from the Departments of Trade and Industry and Social Security are also meeting at Flight Support headquarters today (Fri) to assist with any redundancies that may be announced.

Yesterday Airbase Flight Support said they had no other options - however the company is hopeful that in future months it may be able to re-employ anyone who loses their job.
