A man was rescued from a house fire in Onchan on Thursday night.
Fire crews were called out to the property in Ashley Park at 11.20pm.
The male occupant had fallen asleep and a neighbour called the emergency services after hearing a smoke alarm.
The fire was caused by an unattended grill pan
Fire and smoke damage was confined to the grill pan and kitchen area.
