Dunlop death - BBC man at the course

The road racing fraternity is in shock once more, after the loss of another talented and popular rider.

Robert Dunlop died when his engine apparently failed during a practice session at the North West 200 last night.

The tragedy comes less than a fortnight after the loss of another of the sport's big names - Martin Finnegan - and just over a week before the start of this year's TT.

Biking fans at the Northern Ireland event are in shock, but tomorrow's race will go ahead, in line with the wishes of Robert's wife and sons.

Steven Watson from BBC Sport Northern Ireland assessed the mood at the course (audio file attached):
