New approach to policing in Peel

There is a chance to have a 'cuppa with a copper' this morning.

Members of the Western Neighbourhood Policing Team are inviting people to meet them at the cafe on the corner of Michael Street, Peel between 10am and midday.

Inspector Mark Britton (pictured) says members of the public will be able to talk to officers in an informal way about any concerns they may have.

He says it's a great way for the officers to talk to local residents, and have a break at the same time! (audio file attached):
