‘Should the Bishop sit in Tynwald?

That’s the question which will be asked at the Empress Hotel in Douglas tomorrow evening (Monday).

The Positive Action Group is holding a public meeting focusing on constitutional matters.

Ramsey commissioner, former MHK and MLC Leonard Singer, will argue the case for retaining the Bishop in Tynwald, while Andrew Dixon, a leading Isle of Man Freethinker, will present the opposing viewpoint.

The meeting starts at 7.30pm and all are welcome.
