Manx movies questions in Tynwald

The current state of the Island's film industry will be raised in Tynwald today.

North Douglas MHK Bill Henderson has a raft of questions on CinemaNX, the movie production company which has replaced Isle of Man Film.

Mr Henderson (pictured) is concerned it's employing UK film crews and operatives - rather than Manx workers who gained expertise when film-making here was booming.

He's asking about the cost of CinemaNX to the public - and how much revenue it's generated.

He says more needs to be known about the enterprise:
