A report is being prepared for the Island's Health and Safety Inspectorate on yesterday's collision at Port Soderick, involving a steam train and a van.
It's being compiled by the Department of Tourism and Leisure which owns Number 4, Loch - the locomotive involved in the incident.
In a media release the DTL says the driver of the van was attempting to cross the track when the collision occurred and the vehicle is owned by contractors who were carrying out work for the owners of Port Soderick Station House.
The department also says the police called out the Department of Transport's vehicle inspector, to check the condition of the van.
The front of the locomotive was damaged in the collision, but the DTL says it will be back in service very soon. There were no injuries.
