Supplementary funding - cost revealed

Government pay awards cost the Isle of Man an additional ?8 million in the last financial year.

The lion's share of the supplementary funding provided by Treasury went to the DHSS, with two awards totally ?5.3 million.

The Department of Education was awarded an extra ?1.7 million and the Department of Transport came back for close to an additional ?900,000.

The funding includes the cost of previously announced pay increases.
