The Isle of Man is in a good position to weather the recession now biting into most other economies, according to Treasury Minister Allan Bell.
In the United Kingdom the Governor of the Bank of England is preparing the nation for tough times ahead, and plans to scupper the 10p tax band are adding further pressures to those on low incomes.
