Further warning over sign thefts

Police are stepping up efforts to catch the thieves who are stealing prohibited area signs from around the TT course.

Despite warnings issued last week, officers say the mountain section of the course is still being targeted, and signs have gone missing from Guthrie's and the Gooseneck in the last few days.

Unmarked police cars are now patrolling the course on the lookout for those behind the thefts.

Superintendent Carolyn Kinrade says anybody found stealing signs will be dealt with appropriately:
