Bonfire causes fire scare

by isleofman.com 21st May 2008
There was a house fire in Laxey at lunchtime today.

Police closed the hill from the Faerie Filling Station down to the old part of the village, while fire officers deal with the incident.

It's understood a garden bonfire got out of control and ignited part of the roof of a nearby property.

There were no injuries and the fire was successfully extinguished.
