The government’s IT consultancy bill has gone up by a million pounds this year, according to estimates.
In Tynwald yesterday, Treasury Minister Allan Bell revealed ?5 million had been spent off and on-Island last year – and this year that figure would top ?6 million.
He gave the statistics in a written reply to a question from Onchan MHK Peter Karran.
Mr Bell said on-Island companies who’d been paid government money included 2e2, Catalyst, Manx Telecom, Intelligence Ltd, PDMS and Skanco.
