Job losses at Flight Support

by isleofman.com 22nd May 2008
Nineteen members of staff have been made redundant by Airbase Flight Support.

There's been speculation over possible redundancies in the days since EuroManx went into liquidation

A statement from the company reads:

Airbase Flight Support regretfully confirm that due to Euromanx ceasing operations on Friday 9th May, that 19 members of staff at the Isle of Man base have had to be made redundant. The decision has not been an easy one but one that was unavoidable.

CEO Brett Turner stated “We have been working with The Department of Trade and Industry to try to assist our staff during this difficult time. I would like to give my personal thanks to all of our staff for their hard work over the last few years and wish that there could have been an alternative outcome.”
