Race Mission sets up at Grandstand

by isleofman.com 29th May 2008
A friendly face, someone to talk to and a place to seek refuge from the crowds.

That's what's being offered by the Christian Race Mission, which is back on the Island for the TT, for the 27th year.

The Mission aims to offer practical and moral support for any riders or visitors who need it.

It's based at Paddock B behind the Grandstand.

The man with the mission, Pat Slinn, is promising a warm welcome, although he admits many people are wary of paying a visit (audio file attached):

Pat Slinn was speaking to Dan Davies, on Talking Heads.
