Manx basking shark in Canada!

Basking shark-watchers in the Isle of Man say news that one of the animals satellite-tagged in the Isle of Man has appeared in Canadian waters, is hugely exciting - and significant.

Until now, their whereabouts for most of the year have been a mystery - and this is the first confirmation that they migrate such massive distances.

It also suggests there is one Atlalntic basking shark population.

Jackie Hall from Manx Basking Shark Watch says it's paramount the Island keeps up conservation measures to protect these wonderful creatures:
