Multi-cultural event in Derby Square

by isleofman.com 29th May 2008

A large scale event celebrating some of the many different ethnic cultures in the Isle of Man will take place a week on Saturday.

The Barrio Fiesta International, organised by the local Filipino Association, will feature song, dance and cuisine from a number of countries.

A similar event held last year attracted over 800 people and organiser Maria-Louden Brown hopes to repeat that success (audio file attached):

The Barrio Fiesta International will be held in Derby Square, Douglas from 10.30am, on Saturday June 7.
