Sam looks towards the grand final

Laxey teenager Samantha Barks is preparing for the biggest weekend of her life, with her appearance in the final of the BBC's 'I'd Do Anything' television show.

Whatever happens, it’s been a whirlwind spell for the 17 year-old as she bids to secure the role of Nancy in Cameron Mackintosh's new production of Oliver!

She’s got the backing of thousands of Isle of Man residents, who will be tuning in to see her perform tomorrow evening.

Sam is trying to take everything in her stride, but says it's been an amazing experience:
