OFT looking out for 'short' pints

A pint of beer on the Isle of Man is a pint of liquid plus the head, and that's official!

The Island's Office of Fair Trading is calling on the licensed trade to ensure drinkers get what they pay for, after a series of complaints at last year's TT from visitors served short measures.

The OFT warns it is carrying out checks to ensure full pints are served, after 60 per cent were found to be short, in a recent survey.

Chief Officer Nick Black (pictured) says the industry needs to do better:
