A blueprint for handling health and safety issues affecting the Island's public sector manual workforce, has been agreed by both sides of Whitley Council.
The body, which negotiates pay and conditions for around 2,000 workers, has agreed a nine-point plan, which could apply to staff in a wide range of different jobs.
It's being seen as a major breakthrough, after unions raised concerns about insurance cover and public liability for members.
