Strong showing from junior cyclists

Five members of Team Scottish Provident Isle of Man competed in the third round of Cycling Development North West's youth series at Clayton Vale in Manchester at the weekend.

Thomas Mazzone and Adam Johnson finished third and fourth respectively in the under 16s age group, with Lucy Johnson third girl and 13th overall in the under 14s.

In category C for under 12s Leon Mazzone was fifth and Daniel De Weert 23rd .

With three of the seven rounds completed, Adam and Thomas are currently lying third and fourth in the under 16s overall standings, Lucy is third in the under 14 girls and Leon and Daniel fourth and 14th in the under 12s.
