Alpine update

by isleofman.com 4th June 2008
One of the motorcyclists involved in a road accident at Alpine Corner yesterday lunchtime was today 'critical but stable' in Noble's hospital.

The other was described as 'serious, with non-life threatening injuries'.

The two men, in their early twenties, are visiting the Island from Lincolnshire.

Both bikes collided with a parked and marked police vehicle.

The stretch of the TT course from Kirk Michael to Ballaugh was closed for nine hours while the emergency services dealt with the incident.
