Fireworks and wing walking will go ahead

by isleofman.com 4th June 2008
A traditional highlight of TT festival fortnight will go ahead tonight, despite a forecast of rain.

Thousand of locals and visitors are expected to gather on Douglas Head and the town's promenade for the firework display over the bay.

The fireworks will be set off from a barge, from 11pm.

Earlier this evening there will be a wing walking display over Douglas.

That's due to start at 7.30pm and, again, the organisers have confirmed it will go ahead.
