Houlie inquest

A 51 year-old Frenchman died in a road accident sustaining 17 serious injuries, an inquest has been told.

Christian Roland Houlie, who was visiting the Island for the TT, was killed on the Ballacraine to Kirk Michael Road near to the 11th Milestone on Sunday.

He suffered massive blunt force trauma, primarily to the head, thorax and left side of the body.

He also suffered multiple fractures.

Coroner Michael Moyle offered his condolences to Mr Houlie’s family and friends.
