Charity celebrates Queen's Award

An Island charity which has helped raise more than a million pounds for research into cancer is celebrating receiving a Queen's Award for Voluntary Service in the Community.

A branch of Breakthrough Breast Cancer was set-up here 16 years ago, and since then has made great progess educating people about the disease - and helping those who have it.

Branch secretary Olga Grey says they're over-the-moon at getting recognition for their work - which is not just about raising money:
