Douglas Lifeboat assists cabin cruiser

Douglas Lifeboat was launched this morning (Fri) to go to the assistance of a cabin cruiser off Laxey.

The vessel was on passage from Whitehaven to Douglas when it developed problems and was towed in to Douglas Harbour and met by Coastguard Officers.

There were 14 people on board the vessel - all were safe and well.
