TT visitor plans U.S. charity ride

A TT visitor is planning a trip to the United States to raise money for breast cancer - a disease she has beaten.

Wendy Peek is from the Wirral and has been on the Island watching the races over the past few days.

She will be one of twenty women who will ride 1000 miles from Los Angeles to San Francisco on Harley Davidson machines.

Funds will go to various charities and support groups, including Amazon Thunder Heart - an organisation which arranges adventures for women who've survived breast cancer.

Mrs Peek (pictured) says it's a trip which proves there is life after diagnosis:
