Four in a row for McGuinness

John McGuiness is the toast of TT 2008, after securing an outstanding 14th win to take the Senior crown for the fourth year running.

He and Aussie racer Cameron Donald jockeyed for the lead numerous times on laps three, four and five in a thrilling race.

Donald began to fade on the final lap with mechanical problems, but he held on to take second place, ahead of Ian Hutchinson.

The Senior proved a dramatic climax to the festival with top names like Guy Martin and Bruce Anstey forced to retire with mechanical problems.

McGuinness joined the legendary Mike Hailwood on 14 TT victories and Manx Radio TT commentator Charlie Lambert saluted the 'Morecambe Missile' as he stormed to victory (audio file attached):
