Three in court after Colours incident

Three men have appeared in court on charges of affray following a disturbance at a nightclub in Douglas at the weekend.

The three, all from Sheffield, pleaded guilty when they appeared before the High Bailiff.

Two of the men, Steven Hurt and Darren Hurt were each handed a six months prison sentence, suspended for two years, and fined ?750.

The third man, Patrick Woodhouse, was given a three month sentence, suspended for two years, and excluded from the Island for five years.

Earlier, police appealed for witnesses to the disturbance at Colours night club on Saturday night.

They have thanked the public for their help.
