Marine Drive incident

by isleofman.com 11th June 2008
Emergency services are dealing with an incident below Marine Drive, about half a mile south of Douglas.

A man is at the bottom of a steep ravine and is being treated by paramedics.

Coastguards with stretchers are at the scene, but a rescue helicopter has been scrambled from RAF Valley in Anglesey.

The man appears to be sitting up, but his condition isn't known.

The alarm was raised by a friend at around 1:15pm.
