The work of the Isle of Man's silent army of carers is in the spot light, during National Carers' Week.
it's thought as many as 10,000 people in the Island care for a close friend or relative, performing a vital service at home which would otherwise cost the health service millions of pounds.
The focus this week is on the needs of carers, who often work long stretches without a break.
