Cliff fall man still in hospital

by isleofman.com 12th June 2008
A man remains in hospital this lunchtime (Thurs) with leg and suspected back injuries after falling down a cliff off Marine Drive yesterday.

He had to be airlifted to hospital by helicopter after it was decided rescue by lifeboat or land-based members of the coastguard would be difficult or impractical.

The 36 year old from Douglas whose name hasn't been released at this point is described as being comfortable at Nobles hospital.

Police say they are not treating the incident as suspicious.
