MP calls for regular Fleetwood sailings

From one traditional tourist resort to another, this summer sees the return of day trips by ferry from Fleetwood to the Isle of Man.

Two sailings have been scheduled by the Steam Packet in July from the Lancashire port, just up the coast from Blackpool.

Tourism chiefs across the water are confident there's strong interest in day-return trips among locals and visitors alike.

The MP for Blackpool North and Fleetwood Joan Humble (pictured) wants the Steam Packet to consider a more regular service:
