Cliff fall man leaves hospital

by isleofman.com 12th June 2008
A man who fell down a cliff just south of Douglas yesterday lunchtime has been released from hospital.

The 36 year-old was airlifted by helicopter from below Marine Drive, after it was decided rescue by lifeboat or a land-based operation would be impractical.

The man is understood to have suffered leg and back injuries and was kept in hospital overnight, although he wasn't seriously hurt.

Police say they will not be releasing his name or any other details about what happened.
