School Watch launched

An initiative has been launched to reduce acts of vandalism at eleven schools in the east of the Island.

The aim of the School Watch scheme is to encourage children, as well as adults, to be vigilant and report any criminal activity they see.

The police officer involved in the the launch, Constable Tony Lawler, says getting the children involved should help reduce figures (audio file attached):
