by isleofman.com 13th June 2008
An Onchan woman is hoping to become the first person to complete two consecutive laps of the 86 mile Parish Walk.

Bethany Clague has covered over 1,000 miles in preparation for the event, which gets under way from the National Sports Centre, at 8am a week tomorrow.

To achieve her goal she would have to walk continually for nearly 48 hours.

Bethany will be raising money for the Island's hyperbaric chamber (audio file attached):

You can ring Bethany on 481 792.
