Liverpool berthing problems for Packet

by isleofman.com 13th June 2008
The Steam Packet will be liaising with the Mersey Docks and Harbour Board this weekend after delays in the past couple of days, due to maintenance to the Liverpool landing stage.

Sailings to Liverpool were diverted to Heysham on Thursday and Friday.

On Thursday evening a temporary solution had to be found after the Viking (pictured) was unable to berth properly. That was after the Steam Packet was told the work was finished.

Due to that uncertainty Friday' sailing was diverted to Heysham.
