Help for Island students

Help is on hand next week for sixth-formers around the Island searching for the right university course.

Eighty universities and higher education colleges have been invited to a conference to answer questions from students and parents making that important decision.

There'll also be advice on taking a gap year, theological training, and the options available at an agricultural college.

It's all on offer at Ballakermeen High School next Thursday and Friday (June 19 and 20).

Head of Sixth Form Ian Kay says colleges and unviersities are keen to recruit here - as Manx students have proved a good bet (audio file attached):
