Crossag farm clarification

by isleofman.com 16th June 2008
The parties involved in a High Court action following the rejection of plans for 250 low cost homes on the Crossag farm site in Ballasalla are being clarified.

Developers JG Kelly Homes Limited have lodged a Petition of Doleance against the Council of Ministers' decision to support the ruling of an independent planning inspector.

The inspector turned down the application for a number of reasons, including the shortage of facilities, including a school, which would be needed by the new residents.

A recent news report incorrectly said the Department of Local Government and the Environment was challenging the planning decision.
