Children to plot route of Packet fast craft

by isleofman.com 17th June 2008
The Steam Packet's new vessel, the Incat 50, will be setting off from Hobart in Tasmania next month.

It's estimated the trip to Britain and the Isle of Man will take a month for the large fast craft.

During that time Manx primary school children will be able to ring up the vessel's captain and crew and ask questions about her.

The company is giving the schools a map to plot her progress.

They are also being invited to take write a story called 'The Adventures of Captain Incat and his Catamaran'.
