Colley opens charity shop

A new hospice shop selling fancy dress and vintage clothing opened in Douglas today.

It's right next door to the existing shop on Bucks Road and will be a new home for the Prop Shop, which has been based upstairs at the Hospice warehouse.

That space will now be used as a baby boutique, selling more second-hand bargains.

Motorcycle trials rider Steve Colley performed the the opening honours (pictured).

Hospice shops manager Julie Jones says it's the charity's first specialist branch (audio file attached):
