MHK gives credit to DHSS

Good so far, but could be a lot better.

That's the verdict of North Douglas MHK Bill Henderson on the DHSS's on going efforts to reduce the number of people waiting for an NHS dentist.

In a written reply to one of Mr Henderson's Tynwald questions this week, Health Minister Eddie Teare said 1,369 people were currently waiting, adding that no one had been on the list for more than twelve months.

He also said that in the past two years 6,525 individuals had been allocated an NHS dentist.

Mr Henderson still wants more from the DHSS but says what's been done up to now should be applauded:
