Life-saving skills highlighted

Potentially life-saving skills were run through at a Government table-top pandemic flu exercise on Friday.

Carried out by the Department of Health and Social Security, it focused on carers from the public, private and voluntary sectors.

Director of Public Health Dr Parameswaran Kishore says carers play an irreplaceable role in many people's lives.

He says for that reason they try and prepare for every eventuality (audio file attached):
