'Fantastically interesting job'

The new clerk of Tynwald is looking forward to the challenges ahead.

Roger Phillips, who is currently a deputy principal clerk in the House of Commons, will officially succeed the retiring Malachy Cornwell-Kelly in September.

Mr Philliips sees the Island as a fascinating place and says he will spent his first few months listening and learning (audio file attached):
