'EU nothing short of arrogant' - former Governor

A former Lieutenant Governor of the Isle of Man says we have much to fear from the growing influence of the European Union.

Major General Sir Laurence New says the EU is nothing short of arrogant - in ignoring the 'NO' votes of the three countries which have had a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty.

In tonight's Perspective programme, Sir Laurence will outline his strident views on Europe and what he sees as a lack of honour among today's politicians.

He says the EU has not evolved for the better:
