Minister right behind 'green' TT

Plans to run a 'clean emissions' race at next year's TT festival could form a key part of its future, according to Environment Minister John Shimmin.

He says attracting innovaters in 'green' motorsport to the Island could prove the way ahead for the 100 year old event.

Work to drum-up support among manufacturers in the far east is now underway, with Mr Shimmin (pictured) confident there will be interest in a new era of zero emissions Grand Prix racing:
