Minister asked about possible phone ban

The Isle of Man led the way in making it an offence to talk on a mobile phone while driving.

But should we go a step further, and ban the use of hands-free phone kits?

The issue is in the news today, after a lorry driver from Derby was jailed for causing a fatal crash while talking on a blue-tooth headset.

Transport Minister David Anderson is reserving judgement for the moment:
