It's Veteran's Day.
Those who have served their country will be recognised with a full programme of events.
The centrepiece of the day will be a parade along Douglas Promenade, and a church service before a get-together with entertainment at the Villa Marina.
Twelve Regiment from the Royal Artillery has sent a Major, a Sergeant Major and eight soldiers who will lead the parade, most of them veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan.
In a real community effort, students from five Island schools will also have the opportunity to talk to veterans about their involvement.
